snowman1401
So if retrostepct expresss hd is running when i put in any disk in my d: drive. nothing happens, (doesn't autorun). If i open file explorer and click on d: drive it says. Access is denied. Sometimes after a while it will quit saying that and just say please insert a disk into the drive when i click on it, even though there is already one in it. If i shut down the program my drive works fine. Any thoughts? Thanks Mike
Mayoff
Is D drive the optical drive? You don't tell us. If this is the optical drive, then you are seeing a known conflict with Express HD. No workaround exists, other then to close Express HD before using the optical drive.
snowman1401
Yes it is my dvd rw drive. Thats kind of crappy I have to close the program every time i want to use my drive. Or open the program everytime i was to use it. that kind of defeats the point of having an auto backup program. Any other known good programs that don't have this probelm? Mayoff
Retrospect Professional does not have this issue.
