Nothappy
It came with my Western Digital External USB drive - had a current backup of my entire Cdrive - backed up to the USB drive. Main computer had some issues and after confirming the Retrospect backup volume was correct and uptodate - I did a system refresh on my machine. USB drive still contains the backup all is there but I can't get Retrospect to restore the volumes to the computer. I can see 55gigs of data in the retrospect files on the USB drive but I'm not having any luck getting it to restore to the main machine. If I had known this product was so funky I would have just made a copy of my hard drive on the external USB and called it a day. So whats the use of making a back up when the files are saved in a proprietary format? How do I recover my files?
Nothappy
I can see the Retrospect catalog files-that were created when I built the final backup as a precaution - but Retrospect doesn't seem to have any way of viewing them? This whole thing makes no sense
