ciscokidapluss
Hello all, ( hardware specs. At bottom of page ) I have been having issues with backing up my hard drives. I am always getting a log with seventy or so errors all being md5 mismatches (An error occurred during the verification step. The MD5 digest for the file XXX did not match, error -1129 (MD5 digest mismatch). I have tried surface scans of all the drives involved and still no luck. I am trying to back up my internal C: and D: to an external hard drive. I hope that this is just a simple mistake of mine that I’m overlooking. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. lindahardesty
Have you tried doing the backup with no other programs running? If a running programs made changes to seventy files after they had been backed up, but before verification, the result you are seeing could be perfectly normal.
