steffi
So my computer is set to awake for backup and it's possible that somebody can be doing something at the time that happens. In this case it shouldn't interfere with the backup and I don't want them to have enter an admin password to use the computer which I think Retrospect is forcing them to do when it's in the middle or about to start a scheduled backup. twickland
Go to Configure> Backup Sets> Configure [your backup set]> Options. There you will have an opportunity to set the password requirements for accessing the backup set. It sounds like your backup set may currently be configured to ask for a password for any access, whereas you probably want to have Retrospect remember ("save") the password for at least scripted access.
