jdooney
Hello, I'm trying to recover from a hard drive failure that required me to re-install my copy of Retrospect Express 1.0.196 for my Maxtor One Touch II drive. Before my hard drive failure, retrospect indicated that I had 700+ restore points available (I had it set to automatically back up My Documents at 2:00 AM daily). When I open my newly installed Retrospect Express, it says I have 0 restore points available. I'm hoping that this is a common situation with an easy solution. Please tell me that (and how to) I can get to those restore points. All help greatly appreciated. Jim
lindahardesty
You've probably figured this out by now, but you have to have catalog files to have restore points. If you hd failed and your catalog files were stored on it, you lost them. But Retrospect can recreate them from the backup media. Choose that from the menu system - write again if you need help.
