Samantha628
I have 62.6 GB in My Documents and I want to duplicate a some folders to one external drive and some different folders to another external drive. I can create a folder on the destination drive and put multiple source folders inside it, but I have to create a new script for every individual source folder. Is this correct? The wizard allows me to select multiple folders but only uses one as the source. And the advanced mode will only allow me to select a single folder as a source. I don't want to keep nesting folders inside other folders. At the moment I have 12 different scripts on 2 networked computers running at different times during the day and night. I would rather have fewer than that, but I don't want to back up the entire My Documents folder to the same destination. I have been using Iomega Automatic Backup Pro to do this but I want to switch all my backup jobs to the Retrospect software since I have to use it for the XP Media Center computer. Also the Iomega software works fine with the network drive that it came with, but not too well with the external USB drives.
SHnee
Hi Samantha, This is correct, with Duplicate you can select only one single source volume.
Samantha628
Thanks for responding. This software is very difficult to work with, but I wanted a program to copy files intact.
