updated drivers in 6.1.138?

Hello All,

 

I just got a new iMac (10.4.10) and I'm getting several intermittent errors:

 

error 103 (unexpected beginning of media)

error 100 (device rejected command)

 

From the EMC KB and HCL it looks like I might have an unsupported drive:

I've tried configuring the drives and it is successful, however when I go to backup my projects, it (sometimes) fails.

My question is, are there new drivers supported with 6.1.138 for this drive? Am I going to run into media issues if I upgrade? I use Fuji DVD -R.

 

Anyone have any suggestions or workarounds?
