Disappointed in Dantz Support

All, I've got an earlier version of Retrospect and a later version of Express. I've NEVER been able to get the backup functions to work and support tells me I have to pay (more than and upgrade costs) to get support. I'm really disappointed that I can't get help to even get the thing going.

PS, the best I can do is get Light 4.3 to do a duplicate, which is slow. The backup function locks up when I select the destination disc.
