siegfried
Hi, I'm using Retrospect version 4.2. My backups continually stop halfway through, stating that a hardware failure occurred. It says that either the heads are dirty, or that something else happened. I always clean before a large backup so I know this can't be it. I'm coming from a Firewire drive connected to an Adaptec Firekit 4300 card, and backing up to a Seagate Data DAT drive connected to the internal SCSI bus on a Mac 7300 with an XLR8 G3 upgrade card running OS9. Does anyone have any idea what might be happening? Thanks. Best regards, Siegfried Meier
