matthew
I "installed" a LaCie 52x24x52 CDRW last week, and upgraded to Retrospect Express 5.0 as required. Retrospect doesn't find the drive. Device status identifies the drive as a Lite-on LTR-52246S, version 6S02, driver SdapStubDrvr. If I switch to a "back-up" set of extensions, the driver is listed as LaCieFirewireDiskDriver. I don't know which driver is correct. Either way, the drive isn't found. I use OS 9.1 on a G4. While reading other posts, I find extensions listed. In particular, The Authoring Support Update Extensions: Apple CD/DVD Driver version 1.4.7, (which I have), SDAP Authorizing Support version 1.2 (don't have), and Apple Packet Media Access version 1.0.1 (don't have). Another post talks about disabling Apple's Authoring Support, Firewire Authoring Support and USB Authoring Support. Can't find those by those names. Help is without a doubt needed.
