dimitri Posted April 19, 2006 Report Share Posted April 19, 2006 April 18 2006 Hello I bought an Iomega HDD (400Gb) for my Mac laptop. It came with a CD named Retrospect for Mac system version 10.3. I had to upgrade through Dantz webpage as I have Tiger v.10.4.5, but when I tried to run the upgrade it asked for a license code I do not have. It did not came with the package from PCConnection (where I bought the equipment) just the CD on its envelop and no license number. nembot Posted April 26, 2006 Report Share Posted April 26, 2006 Hi, If you have the receipt(copy of the invoice) of your hard drive, you should contact the customer Service of Retrospect to get a code.(I'm not quit sure if they are still doing that but that's how I solved that issue 2 years ago with retrospect 6.0 express) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
waltr Posted April 26, 2006 Report Share Posted April 26, 2006 hi dimitri, you need to install the version that came with your Iomega drive first, and then upgrade with the download. the initial install will take care of the license problem.
