ugiguxk Posted September 26, 2002 Report Share Posted September 26, 2002 Read another post regarding this. I encountered the same issue. Have new G4's: 2gb ram, dual processor, 10.2/9.2.2. Booting into 9.2.2 ( NO 10.2 Bootup). Install retro 5.0. It will install, request reboot. During reboot system freezes loading Retrospect init. To recover need to disable extensions and chuck the retrospect ones, reboot. System boots fine, but no Retrospect. Any ideas? IrenaS Posted September 26, 2002 Report Share Posted September 26, 2002 No ideas beyond what's been posted in response to the other posts, I'm afraid: Dantz has reproduced this issue, and it is in the hands of our Development team. There are changes in the ROM file in the new dual-processors G4's that conflict with the Retrospect Client. We will continue to investigate this issue, which may be fixed in a future release.
