tacologic
I recently added two Dual 1 GHz Macs running System 9.2.2 to be backed up to DLT using Retrospect Workgroup 5.0.205. and client version 5.0.201. Whenever the Retrospect control panel is in the active, the client computer freezes on startup. This error happened on both computer. I did some troubleshooting and found out that the conflicting extension is Apple Enet, an important one, as I'm backing up over a network. I do not know what to do about this problem. All help would be appreciated.
IrenaS
If you reboot with Mac OS Base extensions plus the Retrospect client extension, do you still get the freeze? If so, try changing the load order of your extensions. If this doesn't help, try reinstalling the OS.
tacologic
I tried restarting with Mac OS Base plus Retrospect and I still go the freeze. When I spoke to Apple, they suggested reinstalling the OS, which I did, but it didn't help and was also when they decided it wasn't their problem. I have not changed the load order of my extensions. What order should I try them in, and how do I go about doing this?

IrenaS
I'll update in this thread, but the one I'm referring to is at: 867DP + 9.2.2 + 4.3client = hang at startup Thanks, Irena
