when i came to my computer this morning, i found a crash log from retrospect. my son's computer had backed up fine via retrospect client, but evidently retrospect crashed when he attempted to back mine up (mine is the computer running retrospect). both computers run OSX 10.1.5, retrospect version is 5.0.205, backup is to a VXA tape drive.

here is the crash log.

Can you clarify what you mean when you say that he attempted to back your computer up? If you restart, are you able to reproduce this crash?

Did Retrospect produce an assert log (in /Library/Preferences/Retrospect)?

Thanks,
