6.5 Client on Vista crashes Retrospect on Server

I've been running Retrospect Professional (6.5.382) on my Win2k server for several years. Recently, one of the backup clients was upgraded to Vista. I installed what I think is the appropriate client for Vista (6.5.140), but backing up this client machine fails every time with an assert.utx error.

I have tried turning off System State, Security Information, Forcing Outlook backups, and still I come in the next day to find Retrospect crashed when backing up this Vista machine.

Here's the beginning of a typical example from the Assert_log:

Code:

OS: Windows 2000 version 5.0 (build 2195), Service Pack 4

Application: C:\Program Files\Dantz\Retrospect\Retrospect.exe, version 6.5.382

Exception occurred on 10/16/2007 at 4:04:35 AM

Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION

Fault address: 6060A696 0001:00009696 meson.dll

Any ideas? An updated Vista client that will work with Retrospect 6.5? Some files that can be excluded from the backup?

Best,

Brad
