cko Posted October 5, 2007 Report Share Posted October 5, 2007 Hello! I've got a problem during backup of an linux client. The linux client is os debian 3 and client-version 7. During the first search on the connected net-volume, the backup-scripts stops with the error -24261. I've found this error in the emc retrospect knowledgebase and did all the things mentioned their, but with no good result. In the log-file the error is named "mapid database is corrupt". The log-file also said, that it happend at chars of the german alphabet like "ä,ö,ü" with are replaced by other symbols in the shown log-file. Did anybody have an answer for this problem!
