Plessers
Ive been using retrospect for many years and have recently run into a problem where retrospect takes 30+ seconds to load. Task manager does not indicate retrospect its hogging the cpu, usual retrospect load during launch is 0-2%. The second problem Ive been having is it does not want to BU to the tape drive anymore. Duplicate or BU to file works, tape does not. Ive reinstalled/updated the LTO3 tape drivers, reinstalled retrospect etc. The third problem is i am experiencing long delays while retrospect is running, usually every 45 seconds it will become unresponsive for 30 seconds. Im sure they are related as they all started simultaneously While the program is unresponsive other applications run fine. Task manager does not indicate any unusual load from any app. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
