Retrospect express backups to external USB WD drive not visible to new computer

I have just installed a new Dell PC with XP. Was using retrospect oem express to create backups on an external USB Western Digital drive on old PC. Downloaded retrospect express 7.5 upgrade to my new PC and attached the USB Western Digital drive to the new PC. RE 7.5 does not recognize any of the backup sets created by the old PC?? Is there something I need to copy from the old PC to the new PC in order for 7.5 to see the backup sets that are on the external drive? At this point, all of the backups I created on the old PC are worthless to me.

I'm using Retrospect Express 7.0 and still a novice with the software so take my advice with a grain of salt. Did you try to do a recatalog? Here's a link to knowledgebase article on how to recatalog:

Also you say that you upgraded to Express 7.5, what version were you using previously? When I looked at the upgrade matrix for Express 7.0, I didn't see an option to go to Express 7.5.
