error -641 (chunk checksum didn't match)

"From Retrospect: Script "Transfer to Tape" failed during automatic execution, error -641 (chunk checksum didn't match). Please launch Retrospect and check the log for details."


I have received this error message twice now, 5 days apart. We're running multiserver version 7.5.387 with driver update and hot fix version on a Windows Server 2003 SP2 machine. I heard that this error message can be sent if the hard drive is going bad, but my error checking tests have not shown anything wrong. I also recently started receiving messages that the tape drive needs to be cleaned. I don't know whether that could be related to my 641 error. If anyone has any suggestions or needs more info let me know.
