Can't backup at all - Error 1017

As stated above.

 

OS = XP x64 SP2

8g ram

Using the latest version & drivers for Retro. 7.5

 

 

I've just had a new machine built(all new HD"S 3 internal) & upon reinstall of this product I can no longer backup I keep getting error 1017 permissions denied during the scanning process. I am trying to backup to a Maxtor one Touch. I didn't have this problem before. All HD's are NTFS and Western Digital 500G.

 

In XP I have the box checked to allow all user to use this product.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
