steve.news
Hi All - I'm having to do my first restore from Retrospect and I have tried to restore the volume a number of ways, without success. I was wondering if anyone could let me know the proper steps to take to restore a drive? My attempts: 1) Installed new hard drive in client, formatted, installed base Win XP OS, installed Retrospect, asked Retrospect to restore to that client volume 2) Mounted the new HD via USB directly to the server, tried "restore all" and "rollback". In both instances, the client machine will not book, indicting Windows has enountered a configuration error with the boot device. Another thought is the latest snapshot I have is corrupt? When I browse the snapshot in Retrospect I see all of the files and folders however. My backups are set to back up "all files and folders except temp". ANY thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
