Recently upgraded to Ext USB2 Western Digital myBook Premium ES (WD5000F032) and on 2nd plus backups, retrospect snapshot is spending > 5 hours. molsen Posted August 18, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 18, 2007 I suspect it may have something to do with Intelligent drive management features — Sales Specs say: The My Book drive turns itself on and off with your computer. Possibly it is interferring? I am searching for some way to disable it. RetroSpect Techincal Support: Looks like there are NO support people monitoring this forum. I've never owned a product that didn't offer technial support. Is there somewhere that we can get technical support for Retrospect on this kind of problem without having to pay for it?
