dickmanikowski
I'm using Retrospect 7.5 for Windows to automatically make incremental backups of my main PC. The external hard drive to which the backups are being written is filling over time. It's approaching the point at which I'd set up grooming to occur (using the standard Retrospect policy). This may be a dumb question, but do I simply wait for that point to be hit and then allow the grooming to kick in? Or should I proactively groom? My concern is that I've got the PC set up to automatically shut down at night (1a, I believe) and don't know what would happen if it shut down while grooming. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. --Dick in Troy
