jelmore Posted August 1, 2007 Report Share Posted August 1, 2007 A MacBook Pro and a MacBook, both current OS and current Retrospect and client software. We travel and when we can connect to a WiFi network, backups work fine. However, when I connect to the internet using a Sprint data card and then share my internet connection with the other laptop via Airport, the client is no longer visible on the network even though I can connect to the other laptop normally in the Finder. Perhaps I should go ahead and get a data card router and let that router make a WiFi network. Then maybe all would be well. Any advice here?
