Mklass
I am running Vista Ultimate under Parallels on a MacBook Pro. I have installed Retrospect 7.5.11.100 and have successfully configured the MacBook Pro's DVD/CD writer. When going to run a backup script I receive error #205 and then #100. Suggestions to run Retrospect 7.5 in this environment?
rhwalker
I would be surprised if Retrospect runs under Parallels because of its close interaction with devices. Retrospect does not use standard DVD/CD writing technology. It does things its own way so that backups can be appended without closing the disc. Have you tried it under Boot Camp? That should work. Why not run the Retrospect Mac version? Russ
Mklass
Thank you for your suggestion. I like the Retrospect for Mac approach however where do I find the Vista documents so I can back them up when looking from the Mac side? Have you considered just running the Retrospect Windows client under Parallels, and having the Mac Retrospect chat with the Parallels Retrospect Windows (Vista) client?
