mikepa
I'm relatively new to Retrospect, so I would appreciate a little help on the following: I need to duplicate a directory once a week to save it onto DVD forever. In the past I've duplicated the files into a directory named for the date and time of the backup. I then (at my convenience) burn the directories onto a DVD. So, my question is how do I get Retrospect to duplicate a source directory into a different directory once a week - the trick is the directory needs to be automatically created (ideally named for the date the duplication was done). It may be a month or more between me burning the files to DVD. The backup tool I used to use uses the concept of $DATE$ to name the directory - does Retrospect have any destination naming method like this? Thanks for any suggestions Mike
