sengler
We run our backups on a WorkGroup Server 7750/120, using Retrospect 4.3 on a Mac OS 8.6, with SCSI manager 4.3, and backing up to a Sony DAT drive from Lacie. Suddenly the DAT drive can no longer be found on the SCSI bus 1 (0 is the internal bus) and I've confirmed I can move the DAT drive to another CPU where it works fine. Any one have any ideas what else is left to check out on the WorkGroup Server before I decide something's wrong with it's SCSI hardware and dump it for another? We'll have to purchase something else if we have to replace the server, so I need to fix it first, if I can. Thanks -
AmyJ
Have you tried different cables? How about a clean system install? Maybe a system file became corrupted. Realistically, it sounds like the hardware is shot.
