Retrospect HD 2.0 + Maxtor OneTouch II -- OneTouch button does not work

Hello folks,

I recently upgraded to Retrospect Express HD 2.0. After the upgrade, however, the OneTouch button on my OneTouch II does not work. I tried selecting each file in the Retrospect directory, but I could not find one that began the automatic backup. I've thoroughly searched the Knowledge Base, and either the answer has eluded me, or there is no answer. smile.gif

I run Windows XP SP2. Prior to this upgrade, 1.1 worked perfectly (shame on me for upgrading when the previous version wasn't broken...). Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem upgrading from Maxtor III One Touch software to Retrospect software for the Maxtor. I found you had to keep the One Touch software active for the Maxtor One touch button to work and was rather awkward-- my Maxtor software "gave up the ghost" shortly after.
