Repairing a damaged Catalog file Retro 6.5

We run Retro 6.5 on a Window 2003 Server. During a daily backup process our Server got rebooted and now I can't access the backup set for that backup script. Any time I am trying to access the backup set it asks for the Catalog file and when I browse to the correct file I get this message "Retrospect is not a Catalog file or is heavily damaged". It wont even allow me to repair the file. What should I do? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
