hanleymr
Any clues? Anyone got the same problem? Having just upgraded to Vista, I have found that Retrospect does like running with UAC turned on and Open File Backup doesn't work so I get lots of sharing violations. + Normal backup using NAME_BU_D-DATA_XS at 11/02/2007 16:48 To Backup Set NAME_BU_D-DATA_XS_01... Can't use Open File Backup option for DATA (D:), error -1017 (insufficient permissions) Not so worried about the UAC as it's alittle bit annoing at the moment, but the OFB is a pain. jelenko
It's known that current version of Retro has problems with Vista. The statement from EMC is there should be an update within February that will be compatible with Vista. The hanging question is whether the upgrade will be free.
