Fizban
After scanning the snapshot of a brand new saveset, I found there were files missing. If I do a search of the saveset for those specific files, it locates them just fine. So the files ARE in the saveset, but don't show up in the snapshot. How can this happen and is there a way to rebuild a snapshot without rebuilding the whole catalog?
lv2ski
If they are not in the snapshot, that means they were not in the source at the time of backup. If they are not in the session, that means they were not backed up that time around as they were not needed.
Fizban
Let me try this again. Perhaps I'm confusing myself. This was a brand new full save and a brand new catalog. Attempting to do a "Restore files from a backup" did not show the files The "missing files" were unique (not having been backed up elsewhere). The files were found in their proper location (drive and folder) using "Search for files and folders".
