arnaudsj Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 Hi, I have Retrospect 6.1 WorkGroup installed on a MacBook Pro 17' 2.33Ghz, and I have been doing weekly backup without an hitch, until I installed BootCamp a few days ago... Now when Retrospect tries to run a Backup Script it says something like "Volume Tiger is offline - aborting" (Tiger is the name of my HD volume). Please help, I can't backup anymore my OS X data anymore! Thanks! Sébastien

When you partitioned the physical drive, the logical volume that you were using as a Source was destroyed, to be replaced by a new logical volume. The fact that you gave the new volume the same name makes no difference, as Retrospect manages volumes by the unique file ID provided by the operating sytem. You'll need to reconfigure your Scripts to use the new Source for your backups. Dave
