gurman
I know Retrospect 6.1 fixed the issue that 6.0 had with StartupItems permissions in OS X 10.4, but since upgrading to 10.4.8 (both Workgroup on OS X Server and Desktop on client Macs), we've found period of time when Retrospect simply doesn't run scheduled backups. The workaround appears to be to leave a privileged user logged in (at the console on Xserves), but that shouldn't be necessary. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Another is to delete the corrupted /Library/Preferences/Retrospect/retrorunfile file, restart Retrospect, and quit it again.
