guitarzar Posted October 28, 2006 Report Share Posted October 28, 2006 I'm getting the following errors when I run a backup using my script: Writer "Microsoft Writer (Service State)" duplicate failed, error -1017 (insufficient permissions). Component "Content Indexing Service" duplicate failed, error -1017 (insufficient permissions). Component "Config Directory" duplicate failed, error -1017 (insufficient permissions). Component "Event Logs" duplicate failed, error -1017 (insufficient permissions). I didn't used to get these errors. Something has changed in the last month or two. nekr0phage Posted October 30, 2006 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 Hi Robert, 7.0.3 isn't a complete version, you might want to double-check what is listed in Help> About. One thing to try would be to change the user Retrospect runs as by going to Configure> Preferences> Security and selecting the option "Always run as the specified user". Then enter an admin user name, password, and the full computer name for 'Log on to...' You must have a password for this to work correctly.
