Dantz Retrospect Express HD

I have had a Maxtor device with the Retrospect Express HD for several months and have accumulated many restore points. Recently the application began to complain that the device was unavailable but I can see and save to it fine with Explorer. Things have gone downhill from there, now the application will not open at all and returns no error.

 

I have not deleted any files from the Maxtor and it has 22.3 GB of 189 available.

 

Any and all advice greatly appreciated.

 

System:

Dell 8100

Windows XP Pro SP2

Hello Foster,

 

Thanks for the tip. I'm concerned only because my directory differs from your description:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\RetroExp

 

What will happen if this directory is deleted and Express cannot find it?
