Woodshark
I am running XP SP2 with an external MAxtor drive. I am using Express HD and checked the restore catalogue today and noticed that new files added to my hard drive are not being backed up. I am using the comprehensive option, choosing the directories to back up. I check the log and it says all is fine. x files backed up. Any ideas? nekr0phage
Hi Dave, Could you detail specifically how you determined the new files are not being backed up?
Woodshark
I went to restore and called up the latest catalog and checked to see if recently added files appeared in the list. I all of sudden feel like I have asked a dumb question............... dave
nekr0phage
Dave, Quote: I all of sudden feel like I have asked a dumb question............... Why is that? Try going to Configure>Backup Sets>Properties>Sessions and browse the most recent session. Does it show recent files there?
Woodshark
I don't see any options. Retrospect Express HD has two buttons .... Setup and Restore Restore shows the backed up file sets. I select the latest date and there is the hitch. Newly added files are not there. Woodshark
Solved. Thanks for the input. I noticed that the selections were greyed out and that c: was no longer selected and only documents and settings were ticked. No idea how it revereted. I upgraded to 1.1 Did a back up and all is fine. Thanks for Guru's help D
