califlefty
Hi all, Just had to do a full restore of my hard drive after having to format it. Using Retrospect 5.6, typical Win XP box. Now when I go into my "settings" window, I see duplicates for almost all functions, e.g. "Mouse" "Monitor" etc. all duplicates work. Unable to delete them, what happened? Thanks

Mayoff
I have never heard of this problem before. You may need to do a "clean install" and restore. 1) Install Windows XP 2) Install Retrospect 3) Restore Entire Disk 4) Restart
AmyJ
Are you restoring back to the same machine? Are there any errors in the Retrospect Operations Log after the restore?
califlefty
Yes, I am attemting to restore to a the same machine after a clean reinstall of WinXP. I attemted to get the log to post, and now get the following error message from Retrospect: ASSERTION FAILURE AT "MODULE.CPP-1059". I click OK and Retrospect shuts down.
