kerano2
Hi, When I try to backup my 3.3GB XP Home NTFS partition to my 6GB FAT32 network drive RE Workgroup gives an error message: insufficient drive space, short by about 1.3 GB. It sees the network drive as 2GB. Why? Thanks for all help received. Ralf
AmyJ
How does the computer see the drive if you get properties on it through Windows rather then through Retrospect? How much free space is available on the drive according to Windows?
tbrox
A FAT32 drive can only handle a file size up to 2 GB in size. your backup drive needs to be formatted in NTFS.
