Penmaster
I have Retrospect 5.6 on Windows XP Pro. I have a small network of PCs and I want to backup the network. The problem I am having is that I have another Windows XP Pro computer. I setup its C-Drive to share the drive from the root down. When I select that volume in Retrospect, a few of the sub-folders I need to backup are locked. Does anyone know why that is?
AmyJ
The access permissions you are using cross-network may not allow access to those directories. Or, the folders may have read-only access. You should consider using the Retrospect Client software for backup, rather then accessing the drives via Windows Netorking.
