texan Posted July 27, 2004 Report Share Posted July 27, 2004 Hello: I have not been in this forum for several months. My B/U's onto My CD-RW drive work fine in Jaguar. I'm using Retro 5.1.177 and Driver Update 4.3.103. First, I am adding a new Internal Hard drive to my G4 (have one bay available). I will be using a Seagate 80GB drive, Model # ST 38000 - 21A. Next I will install Panther ...so, will my Retrospect continue to work with my CD-RW drive? now the silly question: Aren't ALL OS X hard drives 'qualified' for Retrospect? If not where are the Hard Drive requirements for Retro 5.1 on Panther/Jaguar? SOME BU's I want to go to my old Hard Drive and other BU's to the CD burner. Each with different Backup Sets, of course.
