emarsh
Hi, I'm trying to back up my Macs with 5.1 to a Debian Linux fileserver. The problem I'm having is that the ftp backup goes down after about an hour. I've been playing around with the ftpd -t and -T parameters on the Linux box but can not achieve a full backup (of about 70gb). It appears that the -t parameter (inactive timeout) has an effect but the ftp connection is very active. The Linux box is on a local network going through wireless. Anyone have any ideas what mightt be going on? Thanks, Eric
natew
Hi Can you give us a better idea of what you mean by "goes down"? Does it seem like Retrospect is having trouble or is it the FTP server? Can you resume a backup after it stops? Thanks Nate
