sculley Posted June 23, 2004 Report Share Posted June 23, 2004 I am using Mac OS 10.3.4 server on a G5 Xserve (no RAID) with an external AIT 2 SCSI tape drive (Sony TSL-A500C mechanism) the tapes are Sony SDX-50C and should hold 50GB native and 130GB compressed. I don't expect anything near 130GB but we are getting no compression at all and another tape is requested when 50GB is reached.I have updated to Retrospect 6.0.193 with the latest driver update but the problem persists.
