kai
*Greetings* I've a slight problem. In our Network we have a NetBSD-Server running and i've no idea how to get the client work on it. So the first Idea was to create a NFS-share and mount this from the OS-X fileserver (with Retrospect 5.1). No I'm sitting on the OS X - Server and wonder if it is possible to include the mounted network-share to the backup-process...

natew
Hi You can try but Retrospect is not built to support backing up NFS mounts or automounting NFS volumes. This may help: http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=kbase&ACTION=KBASE&id=27238 Nate
kai
Hey thanks. This sounds good I'll try it.... *grins* One trick i've found out is that the NFS-Volumes must be mounted to the desktop using the finder. Automounted Volumes cannot be found by retrospect. And this article may solve the problem, that Findermounts are only temporary thanks...
