Backing up Network volumes?

Recommended Posts

*Greetings*

I've a slight problem. In our Network we have a NetBSD-Server running and i've no idea how to get the client work on it. So the first Idea was to create a NFS-share and mount this from the OS-X fileserver (with Retrospect 5.1). No I'm sitting on the OS X - Server and wonder if it is possible to include the mounted network-share to the backup-process...

Hey thanks. This sounds good wink.gif I'll try it.... *grins*

One trick i've found out is that the NFS-Volumes must be mounted to the desktop using the finder. Automounted Volumes cannot be found by retrospect. And this article may solve the problem, that Findermounts are only temporary wink.gif

thanks...
