Insufficient Permission error (-1017) When restoring

I'm attempting to do a restore to a brand new G4 running Panther and the latest Retrospect Client (5.1.109). The restore starts normally, restores about 15 MB of data, then quits with an insufficient permission error (1017). All the other posts and articles regarding this error seem to deal with backups, not restores. Any ideas?

 

 

 

Other info you may need:

 

Server: Windows 2000 Server running Retrospect MultiServer 6.5 with the Proactive backup and open file backup options.

 

 

 

Client: PowerMac, 1.25 GHz G4, 80 GB HD, 512 MB RAM, OS 10.3, is on a different subnet from the server, 100 base T connection.

Hi

 

What kind of restore are you attempting? entire disk or just selected files?

Normally 1017 errors occur when you don't use the client for restore but try restoring to volumes in the "my network" container. Make sure you have the right destination selected.
