sbergin
One of the many differences that frustrates me between the Mac and Windows versions of Retrospect is the Backup Server functionality. On the Mac, if you even look at it funny, Backup Server pauses. And there's no way to have it auto-start when Retrospect starts. So I'm just curious to know if I'm missing something here: Is there anyway to have Backup Server launch/relaunch automatically??
twickland
Make sure in your Retrospect Preferences that you have Retrospect configured to Autolaunch and to always require authentication. That way, if you log into the Retrospect application, Backup Server will pause but--unless you actually close the Backup Server window--it will resume running shortly after you cease any manual activity in the Retrospect application.
