carpeperdiem
Anyone have success or failure with OSX 10.4.6? Retro workgroup/mac 6.1.126 Thanks.. jr
etiffany
Well, my Powerbook client running the 6.1.107 client software and OSX 10.4.6 didn't respond to a backup last night, and I can't get it to respond to the client search window in Retrospect on the server (a WinXP running Retrospect Single-Server 7.0.328). So I suspect that 10.4.6 may have hosed up the mac client. ET
etiffany
OH, Nevermind. I figured out that Windows Firewall had been enabled on my server machine, and Retrospect broadcasts to find clients were blocked. Adding exception for Retrospect allowed clients (including the 10.4.6 client) to be found. Also, I remembered that the 10.4.6 client had been backed up once, so the whole thing was a red herring. Sorry to waste your time. 10.4.6 seems to work great on my powerbook.
