limiter
Has anyone seen any problems with the 10.4.4 update and Retrospect client software?
TheBum
Why? Are you seeing any? I haven't updated my PowerBook yet so it'd be nice to know of any potential gotchas.
Gilles9
I haven't, I even never thought about it Every morning Retrospect just does its tasks I am confident

Maser
One thing I saw -- and if somebody can comment that they can reproduce, it would help -- after I applied the 10.4.4 server update, all my folders that had permissions set by *ACLs* were backed up all over again. Which was unexpected. Anybody else see this?

Didn't see any in our test deployment of 10.4.4, and we have now updated all clients from 10.4.3 to 10.4.4, no issues seen with Retrospect on the updated clients, and the deployment went smoothly. Haven't yet updated our server from 10.4.3 to 10.4.4; backup, testing, deployment on the server might happen this weekend. We wanted/want to use ACLs but had some issues with some legacy stuff early on so we aren't using them. I note that 10.4.4 server update addresses some ACL issues, so we may try again. smartin
I've upgraded my backup servers to 10.4.4. Havn't seen any issues either good or bad. I'm not using ACL's so I can't speak on that.
domtel
I had the same thing happen - weird thing was it didn't happen until the third backup after the upgrade. See my thread "Retrospect 6 unexpectedly does a full instead of an incremental backup" in this forum.
