karlb
Does anyone know an easy way to get the snapshot for a prior backup. All I can find is the snapshot for the last back up..... which contains corrupted files, so I need to go back in time. I would like to get a snapshot which gives the complete contents of the backup set (not just the changes). I can see the files on my CD media for the appropriate dates, but they are in a big jumble. I suppose I can wade in and sort out this nightmare, but there must be an easier way to reproduce this backed up drive as it was a week or so in the past. karlb
I have Retrospect Express, ver 5.5 (SONY Version) This was bundled with my CD burner.
lv2ski
Express does not allow you to go back to older snapshots. Only most recent snapshots.
karlb
If I read your post correctly, the problem is in Retrospect Express' capabilities, is there any hope by downloading ver 5.6 ? Do you know if other software (like Desktop) would provide the capability for access to old snapshots. I guess I"ve resigned myself to putting the pieces together for this time, but I'm worried about next time....looks like I've got the wrong software. thanks for your help. lv2ski
Desktop and above would be able to go back to older snapshots. Just Express does not have this capability.
