bobgoldstein
I upgraded to 6.1 last night and it seems to have messed up my OS X 4.2 system. My menu bar, where I used to see the time, sync status, etc and Spotlight, now shows only the Spotlight blue circle and it blinks on and off and doesn't work. The Retrospect upgrade was the only change to my system; I have repaired permissions and repaired my startup disk drive, and neither operation found anything to repair. So i want to regress to 6.0, and believe me, Iwill be trying to wean myself off of Retrospect in general. Where are the instructions for un-installing 6.1? I know about getting rid of Receipts, Prefs, as well as the program. Are there other things? I fear that after uninstalling, I will still have my system troubles and will have to Archive and Re-install Tiger. The one bright side is that so far, my system seems to do its work OK, except that the menu bar is messed up.
