gspiese
A while ago I got a notice from EMC that Mac v6.1 for OSX would be available September 12th. I see no mention of it on the EMC site. Here is the original email. Anyone know when this will be available? -----Original Email------ EMC DANTZ RETROSPECT 6.1 FOR MACINTOSH TO INCLUDE FULL SUPPORT FOR MAC OS X "TIGER" A Retrospect 6.1 for Macintosh update, which provides full support for the Mac OS X "Tiger" operating systems, will be available on September 12, 2005 as an electronic software download. CallMeDave
Ouch; generally when a software release slips an announced ship date it's because something was discovered in the quality assurance process. When that happens, a new version (to address the issue) has to be built. And then _that_ version has to go through all the qualifying tests again (even if the programmers made only one change in the code). If they had planned on releasing it 7 days ago, I'll bet that there have been some long nights at the Dantz testing lab. Dave
